    Latest findings on the internet say that oneplus 3 leak could be a decoy, to hype up the device in China. Let me know what you think!!
    [ Update : Sorry, I realise I forgot to mention OP2 in one of the choices... I feel racist and guilty :( ]

    That would be an interesting tactic but it could alienate a bunch of customers who preferred the original design that was hyped. It would make more sense to just promote one good looking phone.

    I'm just waiting for the official release, no point getting excited/pissed about leaks.

    Plus who knows, maybe they have been leaked to see if it would be liked or not before the design was finalised?

    It would be cool if they went with all that trouble just to throw people off, but with all these leaks and gf benchmark it would seem pretty unlikely.

    Could be a decoy. They just got everything sandstoned a few days back. So a OP3 without sandstone back is highly unlikely.

    I could see it being a decoy. In fact, that was my first thought when I saw it.

    Main reason being that if you're an up and coming tech company that wants to stay in the news while having a low advertising budget, this is a great tactic to have.

    Not only that, but your phone is going to get lost inntheb shuffle when you make it a rip off of other company's designs. It's clear to me that someone did a nice job photo shopping an HTC phone back on that picture. Even kept the bad "G String" from the HTC.

    This can be a design sample and not the choosen one.
