I'm a new Oneplus user with a couple of questions

    1) How do I check the length of a phonecall I've made
    2) Why does my music come on randomly ( It's probably me pressing something accidently but still want to find out)

    Thanks in advance

Because there is a gesture where if you swipe down with two fingers it starts or stops music. If this is the problem you can turn it off in settings>gestures>music control.

To know the call time, go to the phone app, change to call history tab (clock icon), click a call, then click on call details button.

When your call is picked up, start counting in your head
    "One Mississippi"
    "Two Mississippi"
When you hang up the call, x Mississippi is the number of seconds your call lasted. Divide that by 60 if you want the answer in minutes instead.

Hello, I am new oneplus user, well oneplus 3 to be exact. I just got this phone and have one question that is bothering me, I've been searching for answer but with no success, must be very silly question too for experienced android users like you guys. So anyway what is a difference from 3 bars icon and paintbrush icon in "recent app menu" witch one I should use to kill apps because they both seem to get rid of those apps ? : /

Thank for answer in advance. :)

Could be a long wait, depends on how soon you want a new phone I guess

You should use none of them, Android kills apps automatically when needed. If you REALLY REALLY need to kill apps, use the 3 bars button. Don't use the paintbrush button as it could kill apps when they are doing something important and corrupt data.

Any threads you see here talking about OP4 have been created by random idiots with nothing better to do. It doesn't exist, and it won't exist for at least 9 months. As @JasonMR says, you can choose between either having a phone now, or waiting forever for the next big thing to come along.

And there will always be a next big thing to come along.

My opinion? The OP3 is pretty great, there are other phones with similar specs and similar (or cheaper) prices. Do some research into both, and make your decision based on your own particular requirements.

I have a weird setting slider that I can't figure out in my display settings. Under sleep there is a setting for @<10digitnumber> it was on. I can't tell what it is for. Help?

That's probably supposed to be Pocket Mode. It's a known issue. If you change your language to US English, it will read properly. If you're already in US English, try rebooting to recovery and wiping cache. JUST cache. Those are the only two fixes I have seen that work. I had it when I upgraded from 3.2.4 to 3.2.6. :)

My OP 3 seems to detect only one 4G sim at a time even though both sims are volte enabled. Is it normal? Is there any way to just switch off data in one sim and use it just for calling?

    otto2 , Oct 2, 2016 :
Since only one Sim can be used for data transfer it s just logical that you can not use 2 LTE connections at same time. So to this is normal behavior.

You can use both Sims for calling, but not with VoLTE, only with GSM.
