Hi I just ordered my Oneplus 3 from Amazon.in. In the description it was mentioned the phone is having a pre-applied screen protector, so does it mean that no need of going for any third party screen protector?
The doubt arised to me because in amazon.in oneplus is also selling a screen protector for oneplus 3

The OP3 has a pre-applied screen protector same as all Oneplus devices, this however is not a glass screen protector but a normal one, i will use this pre-applied one until i receive the Tempered Glass Screen Protector that i ordered from China, as i have ordered 5 of them for 10€ which is alot cheaper then 12,95€ a piece for the official Oneplus Tempered Glass.

So if i want to put a tempered glass screen protector do i need to remove this pre-applied screen protector? or simply i can put it on top of that...

It is better to remove the pre-applied one before putting on a Tempered Glass screen protector. I would not recommend applying it on top of the pre-applied one.

Such a shame OnePlus went for a curved display, I won't be using a screen protector as they don't cover the whole screen! Why didn't they just make it flat and use the tempered screen protector to make it looked curved, like the OP2.

I won't go for a tempered glass screen protector as I never broke a glass screen protector on my op1 or op2. I seem to never drop my phone. And this time we got 2.5D glass so a glass screen protector wont curve like the glass beneath it. A glass screen protector is not going to be as big as the screen. Just won't feel good to put one on
