Oneplus 3 touch issues

    Hi!

Anyone else who experiences that the touch is kind off dodgy sometimes? To be more specific it is especially when I scroll through webpages. Its very easy to get a press instead of a scroll. There are loads of times when the touch registers a press when I am trying to scroll.

Not being sarcastic here, but do you have bigger fingers? Are you scrolling very slowly? Also, what browser are you using?

Maybe try to touch carefully... Saying this because sometimes things go wrong in hurry.

No I have small hands and fingers :) Using Chrome. Just seems like this phone gets accidental presses when scrolling way more than my previous phones. Its the same when browsing Twitter. Very easy to get a press instead of scroll.

I have the exact same problem. It doesn't seem like a hardware issue, but rather a (touch screen) calibration issue. I've been experiencing this problem since the last update, I think. I had no trouble whatsoever when I first used my OP3.
It's just very annoying most of the time.

I'm facing touch screen calibration/latency issues on the OnePlus 3 purchased a few months ago - when pressing the backspace/delete key the other keys around it get pressed and the backspace/delete doesn't work, or works randomly. It only happens in that area. I switched to a different keyboard app and the result was the same. Any leads?

this is a well know issue in recent updates i.e 3.2.8. i had the same latency issues and Oneplus is aware of it. they will fix it in future updates but their priority is high for nougat builds according to carl pei tweet.

I downgraded to 3.2.7 and its fanatics. no touch latency at all. give that a try.

I have the same issue as the OP (Jaxione) and jmiddelkoop. The strange thing is that I didn't experience this issue the first couple of months I had the phone (I have my OP3 since July). Since the end of October/early November I can't safely scroll anymore without causing unintentionally presses, which really is infuriating. It could be related to: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/touch-latency-on-the-oneplus-3-3t.475870/, but that wouldn't explain why I didn't experience this issue the first couple of months. I already tried resetting to factory settings with no apps installed, but to no avail.

I'm getting this, very frustrating issue. Would like to know if it's software or hardware related.

After my screen broke and got replaced 2 years ago, this issue was resolved with it.
