How is the screen uniformity on your OP3?

Mine has a yellowish "stripe" running from top to bottom of the screen, about 1.5cm wide just to the left of centre of the screen.

Other than that I really like the screen quality, so a bit peed of about this.

Common issue or bad luck for me? Considering RMA.

By the way, it is particularly noticeable with a solid grey colour on screen, or a page of black text on white background.

What is it with the OnePlus phones and yellow screen issues? Is there something that OP phones have that is prone to malfunctioning that other phones don't?

In the opo it was a glue adhesion problem fixed with some Uv light, don't remember it being in op2 and this is the first report of it on the 3 I see

I am struggling to get it to show up well in pics. Any tips on best way of doing this? Tried pics with my ipad (4) and it's difficult because of screen reflectivity on the OP3 and the moire effect when taking a photo of the screen.

I fixed mine on my OPO by putting it in the fridge for half an hour (no, seriously) and then going over the area with a UV lamp. It may also dissappear over a bit of time like it did with the OPO, but if not just RMA it they will swap it no problems

RMA it. Clearly something is wrong. You can't fix it, and it won't dissappear by itself.

This witch doctor helped me remove the yellow band from my opo about two years ago. I'll see if I can locate him for you.

I made a video showing the issue. As you can see on a full black background everything is fine. But on the quick settings panel (grey background) the issue is clearly visible...

I'll try to do a factory reset... I'll also keep you informed if this resolves this issue or not.

On black images (real black) you don't see anything because pixels are off.
On Grey.. You see a probable hw defect..
    I would rma it.

This test should be done by every op3 user

Same here, only visible with dark background in dark environment. I'm also thinking about contacting support...
