    Hi,

For the past few days I have been having a hard time to access my Gmail. I tried all the solutions that were sensible on internet but yet I am unable to get to my emails on my 3T phone.

I checked my Google account sync and all looks to be OK but Gmail keeps doing as per the attached. I left my phone open and Gmail open for an entire night, yet its still showing this.

Can someone please assist with this issue??

Some more details will be helpful.
    Like
    what OOS version you're on?
    What steps did you take?
I take it that you uninstalled Gmail by disabling it and updated it again?
Have you tried a different email application or a different email ID on Gmail?
Are you able to use the above email address in a browser?

Hi, see attached below the specs of my phone.

I live in Australia, incase if thats of any help.

I uninstalled the updates as OnePlus wouldnt let me Uninstall the Gmail app and then updated it again and since then have restarted the device numerous times. At start couldnt add my gmail address and kept saying that it exists, then after few restarts, i could get in but until today it keeps fetching email and nothing different. I reduced the days of email to sync to 2 days and yet overnight thing hasnt worked.

As for other applications and web based, it works fine. Its just the Gmail app that gives an issue. However, the UI of other email apps are not as good as Gmail app since its designed to how gmail addresses are configured and looks best in it.

I have gone to settings and accounts and google settings to re-sync but nothing changed there.

    Hope someone has a resolution.

I'm also using OnePlus 3T running on OOS 9.0.4 and I don't have any issues.

Backup your files and apps and do a factory reset. That is the only solution for now.

Hahaha Sridhar are you for Real??? Does OnePlus suggest that? This is an insane way of doing things and whatever made you think like this, I must say its the most childish and stupid answer I have seen in today's high tech world.

This means I will lose my sms and so much of data.

So this means Oneplus cannot do anything better here and this is the only solution?

This is a pity that @OnePlus doesnt have a technically sound solution.

Since the popularity of @OnePlus, it looks like they do not care for their old customers anymore.
