please help guys! I got my OnePlus 5 couple days ago and I was in my kitchen checking the camera and on the camera app screen looking through it there were these wierd black blurred lines going across the screen. not like the type when you crack the screen but this seemed like in the camera app happening through the camera. but when I took photos when the black lines were waving around the photos come out fine. should I be worried?

I don't think the black lines are normal, I would email customer service just to cover your ***.

umm guys one thing. I got focus and put the slider all the way up and picture looks normal. so maybe it doesn't automatically change when going from normal to such extreme light ( i put camera right up to that light )

The alert slider should have no vibration or action with the camera functions.

Keep in mind there is a 15 return policy.

I mean like when the device is turned off and I tap the left side of the screen by the alert slider I feel a little vibration. it like my tap moves around the vibration motor on the inside. although it's barely noticeable it did seem odd to me

sorry for posting again but I'm concerned. so when I put my camera to a light there's black bars (only time I see this is when I put it next to my kitchen light) but when I hit focus and slid it up the bars go away and it's all perfect. you think a software update could solve this to make auto focus better?

I'm experiencing the same problem. The issue appears in low light environments. In pro mode, I can recreate the problem when I push the shutter speed to 1/1000 or higher.

It sounds like you're matching the refresh rate of your light, which causes a banding pattern. That seems like normal behaviour. That banding doesn't show up on the Sun, right?
