because you are increasing the brightness so the bars are disappearing you shold slide it down to reduce brightness and bars will appear.

in that case, it's normal. This happens when the lights refresh rate and the shutter speed match up. It's normal and happens to every camera under certain conditions.

Yep, as others have said, it's just a strange effect caused by the pulse rate of the light and the refresh rate of the camera, it happens to most digital cameras.

the reason you feel a "vibration" when tapping the phone is because your phone has autofocus tech. a tiny motor moves the lens slightly to adjust focus. the "vibration" is just the internals of the lens moving slightly. don't worry, that's normal! in fact, I'd only be worried if my phone *didn't* do that when tapped anywhere near the lens :)

Why do you want to hijack someone else thread on different topic. What is stopping you to create new thread.

Dude you nailed it! I just noticed the same frequency aliasing issue when I tried taking a photo under compact fluorescent lights, and it went away when I took a photo outside. Thanks for clarifying that - thought my 2 day old OP5 was giving issues... *whew*
