OxygenOS oneplus 5 slowed down android 10 update Jun 17, 2020

    I have just updated the one plus 5 and it was drastically slow for two weeks opening the setting apps are taking time, the gallery app, contact, and messages are taking time some times when I swipe up apps get missing I have to search for and app and then all apps come back there is a lot of animation it is nice but when I turn off animation still the all these apps are taking time oneplus launcher has made a big bug in one plus 5 one plus release a big bug update do u r research on the one plus 5 s bug and update I don't care about u give updates or not but at least fix the bugs guys plz say me will oneplsu roll out one more update I think they should fix bugs than giving new android version

    If you don't want bugs, then I think you should wait for a few revisions. You can't expect it to be bug free at version 10.0.0

    yep same. the layout looks awesome. but phone is lag and slow. not to mention the battery drain too.

    @whitehat07 I dint notice any battery drain I noticed this problem where the screen goes black and come s back every second after I restart it stops

    Hello Team,

    I did update One Plus 5t os from Oxygen 9 to 10 stable.
    Since the update, I'm getting user experience like using Moto G2. Performance of every Google app has slowed down to lowest level ever imagined on one plus device
    I waited patiently for almost one month before posting this performance review.
    E.g. Google search takes 5-10 seconds to display results
    Google search results do freeze randomly and page scrolling doesn't work randomly
    Gallery photos are taking more than one minute to open etc. The list is quite big.

    Request you to fix these performanceissues

    No that is not a default of update it maybe cause of low storage in your device Check it first and clear it and then see

    Things do slow down over a period of time

    Apps in their latest updates are more optimized for the latest version of Android

    We can only hope things remain as snappy as day 1 but it wouldn't be :(
