It would be nice if it has. But I think if it does they would have mentioned it.

I think there's no OIS in there, sadly

very disappoint to see the spec of 5T

no reason to upgrade to 5T from 5,especially without OIS.

5T is just the big screen version of 5.

big screen with also higher resolution, may have higher battery consumption.

I noticed that the 5T does a fairly good job at video stabilization and apparently better job than the Galaxy S8 does with OIS.

How much is OIS important compared to EIS on the OP5T?

the second lens is not telephoto, the 2x is completely digital you can see that the focal length of the lenses is completely the same meaning that there is no optical zoom

Optical Image Stabilisation would obviously improve the camera, and make it easier for the Electronic Stabilisation to work on the video.

But I would imagine there are patent issues, and manufacturing complications in picking a lens and sensor that is suitable for the hardware and shell designs OnePlus makes use of.

OnePlus tries to keep the price low, but if they believe the Camera is core to making a "flagship killer" they need to up their game, and OIS with plenty of light in the apertures. Hopefully the OnePlus 6 and 6T make progress with this.

I will hold on to my OnePlus 3 for another year. I hope that next year they will bring back OIS. I think it's really necessary for low light. Too bad OP5T doesn't have it.
