    Hello

So recently I got the oreo update on my oneplus 5t. All looks great so far except for 1 issue.. I have a dodge ram with uconnect multimedia system.. After the update the screen doesn't show any info about the tracks that are currently playing. Also when I switch the vehicle on and press play on mob regardless of the platform i am using SoundCloud.. Youtube or my native music player it takes about 1 to 2 mins for the sound sometimes even more for me to be able to hear the music from the car speakers. This wasn't an issue at all while using nougat.. All i see on the display is oneplus 5t and underneath it unkown...my car is 2016 model and the latest update for uconnect is installed.

I had a rental car with uconnect past week and I had absolutely no problems with connecting to the uconnect unit. Music was playing nice and no issues witih making or taking calls. B.t.w. I'm on OnePlus OxygenOS Beta 3.

Same issue with a 2015 ram. Tried factory reset of the phone and radio to rule out which piece is the problem. Fingers crossed they can find a solution.

Having the same issue as OP(arammalatjalian)

I have a 2014 ram 1500 with uconnect. Worked perfect before the update. I called OnePlus and they said to restore the phone. Did that and it worked perfect when I tested it that night. Next morning right back to being super slow and not displaying song info. If I hook up my Galaxy it works fine. It's definitely an update issue and not stereo issue. I'll be calling OnePlus again and most likely rolling back the update. I'll update with any new news.

But it works fine when I turn off and on the Bluetooth on the OP5T.

So latest update is if I connect the phone then just turn it off and on again it's connects quick and works how it's supposed to. Have to powercycle the phone not just turn bluetooth off and on. Annoying to have to powercycle the phone but until a real fix comes out maybe this will help you with uconnect. Hope this helps!

this is generally not a oneplus issue this does seem to be an OREO issue affecting a number of phone manufacturers.

try using Google to search before having a moan at oneplus

pixel phones included so Google are struggling.

Google is your friend, give it a go it takes less time that posting a useless thread!

have a read of the links up in the thread, it's a general Oreo bug not just affecting Oneplus

It would be great to see an update from Oneplus on this issue. Situation really sucks. I don't care if it's a core Oreo issue, Oneplus needs to extract the fix needed from Google and get it out to us, it's customers.
