Can't say I've really noticed a change in the camera, but I don't have the Google camera app installed as you apparently do. Camera is still hit or miss.

I don't know how to take you seriously when you say considerable amount of time yet the update to 5.0.3 was only released today! and 5.0.2 only 4 days ago.

But yeah, so far it's exactly the same as it always was; just awesome.

What about the battery chart that I personally thing its super usefull? Now instead of having the chance to open it by tapping on the battery icon of the quick toggles you just can turn on/off battery saver. Its really a pity. Can it be brought back please?

+the phone still works as well as before and maybe even feels a bit faster and smoother
    +fingerprint sensor is more accurate
    +new, better emojis

-the icons have gone worse for sure (the round white boxes are unnecessary)
-the old notification bar looked way better as pitch black instead of grey

Edit: found a workaround to get the old icons back. Download polycon app and change them one by one with a long press at the icon.

Long press on the battery saver icon to access the same battery status screen (the updated Oreo one anyway). Nothing to bring back really.

Yeah, quick view on batter was best thing in old version, love to get it back, I don't use this battery saver at all sine I use automatic version.

The quick settings on the second swipe down is gone?! It's only toggle on/off. Why did they take this out? I didn't like the first swipe when it took you to quick settings but all I want to do is turn off the bluetooth for example.
