Yeah it's been 2 weeks since I ordered my stuff from OP and still no package.. I am going to file a refund In the next few days if it doesn't arrive because the maximum delivery time is the 6th and it has been stuck on an error for tracking since the 28th. Customer service couldn't have been less helpful if they tried. Dreading filing a refund with them and doubt if I'll ever see the money or product so feeling conned out of £50.. Don't think their customer service for their phones will be much better tbh

Are you running Magisk by any chance? If so, see if you loose root right before a crash.

I did read the word "stock". However, some users don't consider a rooted phone as a non-stock device.

Had it just happen again today whilst running the NBA play app. May just give up and send it back for RMA.

Had same issues. Apps crashing and phone reboots intermittently on the 2nd day after receiving phone and installing updates. Tried every trouble shooting methds, and had tech support flashed device to no use. Device stopped making phone calls, alert slider stopped working and constantly reboots. Sent the phone back just today(1 week in) for a replacement. I'm willing to give OP one more try before giving up since I had good experience with my OP3. Their tech support is on point for trying but it's almost comical that they can't fix their own product. We as customers have to pay for shipping to send it back just an FYI.

This is what the Oneplus Tech Support reverts when asked for a replacement:
We certainly understand your concern, I would like to inform you that, Amazon and OnePlus stores have different sellers so as you have purchased the device from Amazon, and we do not have access to Amazon's company policy and processes.

Hence I request you to contact Amazon regarding your concern. Be rest assured Amazon support will surely help you out."

Great, so the company is putting the blame on the sellers rather than accepting a fault with their own product.

Hey guys I also suffer consistent random restarts. I noticed tho that the restarts do not happen when SoundCloud is running and playing music over Bluetooth. What's up with that...

Hey guys, so it seems that my unit only freezes & restarts if it's in a cold environment (eg outside). It doesn't seem to restart as often in room temperatures. Is anybody else making the same observation?

So mine does the same thing.... Maybe once/twice per day. Usually when I connect it to the car dash charger.

Anyone getting any responses from OP acknowledging it?

I've had my phone since november 26th. It worked well until approximately 15 days after purchase. I tried to have it replaced due to random reboots and loss of service however mysteriously 15 days is the deadline. After weeks of constant inconvenience I was able to do a remote take over: it failed and the problem continued. I was then talked into mailing my phone out to Prague to have it fixed. 10 days later it came back, and yesterday, the problem happened again.

They want me to send it in again for another 10 or so days to another repair shop and are promising a sure fix. As you can imagine my frustrations have begun to overflow. After reading online and trying everything to repair the phone and winding up in the same situation im not sure choosing a telephone that doesn't seem to meet it's base mission statement, Never Settle, was the right one to make. I see now many others are experiencing the same problem.

OnePlus 5T, 8GB/128GB. Unboxed my phone today and first thing it did after turning it on was reboot. Right on the "Select language" screen. I thought it was updating or something so I tried again. In summary, the problem kept repeating and the farthest I've come to the phone setup is to make it into the Google login screen. I just applied for RMA, hope they sent me a phone that works.

So I'd say this is hardly a software issue, it appears to be a batch of bad phones that skipped quality control.

Hi. Did you manage to solve this issue? I got my OP5T yesterday and I haven't been able to complete setup, the phone suddenly reboots after a minute or two.
