That's very strange, but once I posted this message, my phone stopped to lag. OnePlus is watching me...

Hello everyone, I would like to post my own experience. I was a Oneplus believer since getting my Oneplus 5. Leaving the Galaxy lag nightmare was a Godsend. I never have issues with the phone. Recommended it to friends and family. It has been crisp and snappy I was in love for over a year until 9.0.3 update. Everything changed! The phone is laggy, buggy and crashes.

When clicking on text app the text input will be slow and laggy.
Phone looses mobile network internet connection intermittent.
Phone calls drop off. Message is "Proccess system isn't responding". Additionally, I am having intermittent problems with no sound for alarm, and incoming phone calls. Problems of no response to changing volume of videos.

How can I use a phone that can only make phone calla 60 % of the time. What if I have to make an emergency phone call? This is a dangerous situation.

I am very disappointed with the quality testing of these updates by Oneplus team. Also with their continued silence and negligence. Where is the update to solve these issues? Do we have to wait 3 months? What happens if it does not fix it?

Looks like I will have to look elsewhere for my next phone soon and what do I do with this one? Its not fair, I paid for a new fully functional phone. What do I do if it was broken by the company that sold it to me.

    Hello all,

I suddenly had the same problem as you all on my OP5T or maybe a little different from some people.
My phone became all in the sudden very slow, very laggy. So I tought it was time to factory reset and start with a fresh and clean install but it did not change anything even the booting screen was very laggy.

So I did find the latest updates for Oreo (5.1.6 + 5.1.7) and flashed via the recovery mode and voila, my phone is back to normal, no more lags and god that Oreo feels better that this crappy Android Pie (it's only my opinion tho).

So for those who want to try and flash a "working" ROM :

I think it would be bether download the ROM directly from OP website:

    I've found Oreo 5.1.7 there.

    I'm using Oreo too

Yes. I did factory reset to my 1+5, didn't resolved the lagging issue.
Just lost half a day to reinstall & configure everything back :-(
