    Hi,

    I am new.

How long does it take to reboot after TWRP and SuperSU Zip loading?

    5 minutes passed? :) :(

    Hi Again,

SUper SU does not work i think. But don't know why? Magisk is ok. It is rooted now. Is there a major difference between them?
And wondering why can not flash the Super Su zip. It does but after that the phone does not boot. I have to flash the TRWP again every time to boot the phone.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I rooted my phone using these steps and it was perfect. But because of some complications while trying to install V4A that messed up WiFi first and then messaging, I had to flash stock ROM again. Now my bootlocker is unlocked but I have stock recovery. I want to install TWRP now, but when I boot into bootloader and run the commands, it says that fastboot command is not recognized. What can I do from here?

I recently got my 5T and I want to unroot it.
As suggested in the first post, I prefer to understand well before finishing (just unlock the bootloader)
I found out the characteristic and meaning of a systemless root (https://www.howtogeek.com/249162/what-is-systemless-root-on-android-and-why-is-it-better/)
I've read that Magisk is a better choice.
But I cannot find what are the differences among the different versions/flavours of TWRP (Codeworkx or Blu_Spark Or ibe Or Official TWRP) Just GUI? Any opinion about them?
Codeworkx (given as a choice in the thread in XDA) is 3.2.1-0, while the official has also 3.2.1-1 (but 3.2.1-0 is also downloadable). If installing the official version, is it better the last? definitely better? or better being a little conservative?

Guys, any idea what happened with TWRP?

Is it inteded that I cannot access to my old TWRP (had root on stock ROM before update) and when the new OnePlus bootloader is trying to install SuperSU I do get "Installing Failed" message.

I had no problems following this guide here on my stock 5T.

    Thank in advance!

this method works with OOS 5.0.3?
what is the difference between Blu_Spark TWRP Or ibe TWRP Or Official TWRP? well I know the last one is the official but regardless of the developer, what is the difference between the other two?

No problem. Also I recommend using the Magisk zip instead of SuperSu, it seems to work better on the newer builds.

You'll have to download and install the full ROM but yes there shouldn't be any problems. You'll have redo the rooting process though as it will be lost when you upgrade.
