    Dear OnePlus team,

Myself and my brother using Oneplus 6 & 6t devices.
We didn't experience these kind of problem
I thought it might be an hardware problem
We both are experiencing this pocket mode issue after we updated the oxygen OS version to 10.3.9

Please fix this issue as soon as possible

    Thank you

    What if you reboot?
What if you turn off the pocket mode , reboot and turn it on again?
Have you recently applied a new screen protector that could be blocking the sensor?

Do you use a tempered glass? Does it have cutouts for the earpiece and the front camera? If yes, time to put a new tempered glass, as the old one has accumulated a lot of dust (which can't be removed easily)

Brother, a month before I had changed the whole display set of my OnePlus 6t, its new one. A screen guard already applied in it, I didn't change it.
It's clean and clear. No dust

Change the screen guard. I had the same issue on my OP6, which got solved on taking off the tempered glass (dust or the screen protector may be covering the proximity sensor)

Weird, it still could be the screen protector you applied, however you could follow the same steps again and additionally clear the cache of the OnePlus launcher, I’m not sure though if then pocket mode is part of the pocket mode. This however will clear you homescreen setup and you’ll need to set it up again.

if that all doesn’t work, best is to give feedback here.

It is definitely the screen protector. Had the same issue a couple of months back on both my OP6s (different time periods). Removed the tempered glass, and the issue got rectified

I'd say the same, seen this a lot also with the 8 series I think, it's sensoring the side of the glass or so, not sure.

And I have ordered a official tempered glass for my device. Might be going to face the same issue?

Stick it on the right way, although I have seen the issue with Nord also quite a lot, come to think of it.

Don't think so. As long as you align it perfectly (and regular cleaning with a micro-fiber cloth to remove the dust goes a long way)
