I am a Oneplus 3 user and definantly will not bye OP6.
They purposely cut functions from it to leave it for the 6T, which is a shame.

    - very bad implementation on the secondary back camera. It doesn't do anything. Its just there for the stupid boke effect
    -no wireless charging
    -no stereo speakers

    -most probably no water resistant

For the first 3 I am 99% sure they left out, so it can be added as a "bonus" feature on the 6T this November.
I realy wanted to buy the OP6, but I am not getting a half backed phone...

Which is much appreciated, prefer the T models.

get the 6 because it'll get updated longer given it's launched earlier and also there's not much to improve anyways so at most 200-300 mah of battery extra and maybe a thinner Bezel here and there. The op6 is a good device and worth a buy.

Buy the phone when you need it.
(Or when you have an itch to change/upgrade even if old device is working fine)

Dont go by these comments that say features are missing and so on. When you are planning to go for 6T, there will be OnePlus 7 on the way...will you wait again ?

Best approach is to go for it when you need it. And then stop comparing, and looking at newer models !!

6t will most likely have a snapdragon 845, same as the op6 (the launch of the 855 is probably going to be around beginning of 2019). The only difference between 5 and 5t was the screen (which made the phone slightly bigger). I think that the 6t won't be much of an upgrade, just slight changes, and on the other side you will most likely receive 6 months less upgrades and hate yourself that you haven't waited other 6 months for the op7 (a bigger upgrade). Oh, and they will charge you even more and probably you will end up buying a op6 Anyway because the Price will have dropped (considering its on Amazon too)

that is the point. When you buy 6t ppl say why not waiting for 7. This conversation can be forever. Buy the 6 if you decide to buy new phone and cant tolerate the old phone. You want to wait, you can always wait.

I completely agree with this. With OnePlus' refresh of every six months, there always going to be something better just out on the horizon. Look at the phone you have, look at what's out there and decided if you want to upgrade.

I have a OnePlus One, had it for about 3.5 years. Decided to upgrade today. I actually would have gone with a 5T a few months ago, but they sold out so I had to wait and am now getting the 6. I could hold out another 6 months, but just felt the want to upgrade now.
