I updated my 3 year old OP 6 to Android 11 and I'm one of the first users of oneplus brand I've used OP1 before this phone and that phone was a beast even this OP6 still beats midrangers but after updating to A11 I'm facing so much issues and it gets more frustrating when I see oneplus launching new smartphones I appreciate it but when you don't give support to your early adopters it gives bad light to your brand.
Some issues which I'm facing with the update are:
    - battery drain
    - ambient/lift up display not working
    - oneplus stock wallpapers gone no option in setting or anywhere

    - unusual call drops
    - crazily bugged Android update

For battery drain, I suggest that you calibrate the battery and do a factory reset once. This may help you.

    Hi All,

I updated my OnePlus 6 with Android yesterday. Since then I am facing multiple issues:
    a. All apps are taking time to launch, b. Launched apps getting stuck when tried to close them c. When screen left unattended, it is blinking and then brightness reduces to zero.

Factory reset your phone if you haven't yet, it'll help a ton. Remember to back up your data first.

Facebook hat Probleme, es ist nicht das Telefon oder das Update.

2 days ago I updated my OP6 to android 11 . Since then the battery is draining so fast. The factory reset didn't helped much. I can live with the other issues that other people mentioned already.

I'm also facing the same issues.
Also, there has been noticeable performance drops in general applications.
After updating to Android 11, the native OnePlus gallery was updated as well. But before the update, the OnePlus native gallery was super effective at reading the internal storage content and showing newly added media. But after the update, it struggles to load and read the internal storage media content, being also unable to detect some newly added media.

Keep holding power button for few seconds. It will restart in normal mode. You accidentally hold the volume and power button while restarting your device and it got stuck in fastboot.

Look at your screenshot. Use volume keys, and when you see START in top then press power button. It will turn your phone back on.
