you have provided minimum info about your problem. this is not enough for anyone to give you a good answer. please put a screenshot with you battery usage, to see which app is draining so quickly.

p.s. if you just updated, let your phone go through 2-3 charging cycles to stabilise itself

You have to go for a day or two and load a few times until the system adjusting..
A fresh update and then scold again about the battery is unnecessary..

Right on the question, can you completely wipe the OP
    Launcher from your device?

The reason - a massive battery drain caused by it
Before my last charge, the launcher had consumed 27% of
he battery. Usually is around 10-15%
No widgets on the home screen, the only gesture which I'm
using is double tap to wake/lock.

A few days ago I contacted the OP support. The guy there
told me to delete the launcher and that the phone cah work
as good as ever even without it
I asked if the launcher would be completely wiped or just
replaced with an old version and he assured me that it'll be
gone for good. (have a screenshot with the conversation)

Can anyone give an advise on what may cause the launcher to be so battery inefficient, and if it's possible for the phone to work without the launcher?

I agree, I got my phone on the 28th of December, updated on the fifth and since then my phone drains a lot faster. The battery is still good and I don't dash charge much so it's either the update or the apps I have
