I have seen the comparison and in much cases Samsung and pixel produce better colour reproduction. details are even better in pixel and Samsung. colour with OnePlus are dull and faded. you can notice red colour for example. it looks like orange.

Thank you so much for bringing out this so nicely and in a concrete manner. Really appreciate your effort.
I too have reported the same on OnePlus's Blind test thread.

Did you even read the the authors post? You should try to and look at how many up votes he has on his reported bug feedback?

His examples describe perfectly what so many of us have as well. Your fanboy attitude isn't helping, it's just not accepting the facts right in front of your face in the authors post.

the feedback provided through this thread is absolutely exceptional. it's time for Dev's at OnePlus to take these logs seriously and act accordingly in order to meet the camera performance in accordance to top tier contenders in the market.

Good to see that they're hiring for this. It's obvious they didn't hire enough before.

To me it seems that the camera is using an AF-S or single point rather than multi-point for the AF. In that case it works well, but to the common user multipoint is preferred I imagine. And touching the screen let's you drag and change the focal point and then also drag and change the image exposure which if not used correctly can cause issues with the final processing. I believe removing the exposure focusing point as an option, and just add an exposure metering algorithm for this would help.

For focusing they should use dual pixel technology that Samsung has. It's just the best out there. My 2 yrs old s7 edge has that and focusing is super fast and never it has produced a blurry shot. It just works. One plus should move in that direction. Also the pro mode on op6 looks very basic compared to s7 edge as it does not offer many options like metering mode, focusing modes, color options which are all found in Samsung phones. These all are software related upgrades which I am sure op6 team can deliver.

These are all great and in the end really all they have to do is just improve the post processing of the shot.

Does someone experience a purplish glare focusing dark objects in low light condition? It only happens at the top and the bottom of the sensor.

This happens to me in preview, when I take the photograph the effect is not visible.

You do realize that using the Pro mode and using RAW image mode eliminates completely postprocessing?
You have been advocating for removing postprocessing for a long time (2 weeks or so,) but the RAW image mode doesn't have postprocessing. Why don't you use it? What is wrong with RAW in your opinion?
