I just wonder, who was the brainiac at OnePlus, who decided, that non reinforced glass back would be great idea for the mobile device???? What are the advantages to go glass. I understand the screen, since we have to look through glass to see what it displays, but the back is painted anyways.
My phone fell 200mm on the floor. I doubt it would have ended up like it ended if the back was metal or plastic.
    Sorry for the hijack ;)

if the phone needed a case it would be designed to come with the case. I don't need bricks in my pocket ;) I'm not really complaining, since it was my dumbarse who dropped the phone, but I'm just questioning the stupidity of the design.

if it was plastic or metal I wouldn't treat it any other way. Its a mobile phone, not a brick. I remember I had Nexus 4 which was glass back. I had it for couple of years was good as new after I was done with it, I sold it to my friend who dropped it within a week and smashed it.
