As per the title, my OP6 keeps rebooting when going on any app. This has been happening the last two days and it's never done this before. What can/should I do?

Try to clear the cache of phone. Check if it works. It'll not delete any of your data.

Turn off the phone>>Press Vol down button + Power button>>Enter Password>>English>>Wipe Data and Cache>>Wipe Cache only and reboot the phone.

If this doesn't work then backup all of your data and reset the phone.

This will definitely not work as it does absolutely nothing on A/B partition devices.

If you're talking about clearing cache. Then I know, but there is no problem in trying.
That's why i said if that doesn't work then reset the phone.

Doing something which you know won't work is just a waste of time, don't you think?

Right, but you never know what is creating problem in other's phone. Anyway, It's just a 2min work, not so time consuming. Otherwise, i wouldn't suggest anyone to do.

Not to mention that clearing the cache can actually cause other complications such as battery drain.

Let it be 2 minutes or 2 seconds, why suggest something which does absolutely nothing?
I agree with your second part of the post. Flashing the rom again csn solve the problems. But why the first part, when you know it does nothing?

I think the best possible solution (given the lack of data) is to factory reset the phone.

It's not about me being happy. It's about suggesting the right thing. Who knows, sometime may end up deleting the data by mistake.
Anyways, glad that you won't suggest this in future.
