Network/Connectivity OnePlus 6 Mobile network not working but network bars are there Jun 1, 2018

?

Cellular Network issues that were there on OnePlus 6 has it improved with the new 5.1.16 update?

    I have two sims jio and airtel. Both are almost full in bars but i face frequent call drops and calls even not connecting me not even messages. Im getting this after 20 min of messages sent in my phone.

    ANCH'IO ho lo stesso problema ... rete ILIAD..io adirittura navigo in 3 g..se metto 4 g il telefonino si aggancia alla rete ma ci sta solo solo secondi ... poi resta solo il logo 4 g ma la rete scompare ...

    idem, però non è colpa di iliad, ho provato altri smartphone con iliad e negli stessi luoghi ha funzionano perfettamente, lo switch avveniva normalmente e la connessione rimane attiva e funzionante, è un problema di oneplus 6.
    Ho anche provato altri operatori, praticamente ogni volata che si passa da 4+g a 4g perde connettività anche se mi segala 4G pieno al massimo.
    Ho un oneplus 6 8/128 con oxygen os 5.1.8.

    idem, but it is not iliad's fault, I tried other smartphones with iliad and in the same places it works perfectly, the switch took place normally and the connection remains active and working, is a problem of oneplus 6.
    I have also tried other operators, practically every sprint that passes from 4 + g to 4g loses connectivity even if I reap 4G full at most.
    I have an oneplus 6 8/128 with oxygen os 5.1.8.

    I just bought a OP6, updated to Oxygen 9.0.2 and yet I'm getting a similar error.

    Basically whenever the phone switches from wifi connection to mobile data it drops out the data connection for all of the apps I lunch since the wifi->4/3g switch.

    Meanwhile the network icons in the top-bar are at full signal and the apps that were already running before the wifi->4g switch keep on having the internet data connection on and working properly.

    The only workaround seems to randomly toggle airplane mode or rebooting the phone

    Did anyone experience a similar issue? Is there any official fix?

    I resolved the issue by checking the option "Intelligent Wifi Switch Function" into the following menu settings: "Settings->Wifi&internet->Wifi Preferences"

    Reset the Network, go to Settings, System, Reset Options and reset the WiFi, Bluetooth, Mobile Network.

    I had a similar problem with my 7t model, with the exception that it would show no bars and no mobile network. I end up delivering the unit back to OnePlus for repair. The consultant told me that it was a flash code that was updated and that should resolve the problem. I'm expecting the phone to come back to me in the next couple days.
