I updated my oneplus 6 to 10.3.7 and just after that it asked for password as it always does after every update, however, this time it is not recognizing my password and showing as wrong password. I have entered my correct password 60 times by now, still it is not accepting. Can someone please help me fix this issue?

You can also restart your phone. Press and hold down the Power button until the Restart option appears on the screen. ... Wait one or two minutes and only then check if the phone recognizes your PIN or pattern.

You may have to factory reset the device via recovery unfortunately. Unless someone else can suggest something.

    Any ideas @Caomhin ?

It's possible the password profile has become corrupted somehow.

I know you don't want to reset, but the phone is encrypted by default which means you would have to put in the correct password or do a complete Factory reset. The password is there to secure your phone and there is no way around it.

I suspected that would be the case, but thought it was worth another opinion. Cheers fella 👍

Exactly this. I had this a couple of years back randomly. Lost a lot of stuff as a result.
