Both of these are 100% without a doubt dropped phones. The impact point is so blatantly obvious that no one will believe you didn't drop or bang them into something.

Don't expect to get it changed without a cost. How do you intend to prove you're not the one who dropped the phone ?

The crack of the fingerprint sensor does not have an impact, but from that point a little higher to the right there is an impact point from which a crack goes to the area of the finger sensor and there the accumulated tension of the material is released giving rise to to several cracks. There is an impact.

Hello OnePlus friends. I have the same issue as many have described above. I bought the Sandstone case I always have it on. The only time I remove it is to clean the phone once in a while (last time was 2 days ago). Today, I removed the case to show a friend how nice it was and was shocked to see the back screen was cracked. I know for a fact I didn't drop the phone since I had last removed the case two days earlier. I am crazy when it comes to taking care of my things. I have never broken a phone (Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 6p, Pixel 2 XL, and now OnePlus 6). I wear very stretchy jeans, so I would be very surprised if it could have put enough pressure on the phone to caused this. I agree with the people who said that glass doesn't just crack on its own, so it means my OnePlus 6 must have been ridiculously frigile, to a point where it broke from regular use (like putting it on the table or something). This is my first OnePlus phone, and I absolutely love it.

I know it's unlikely OnePlus does anything about this, unless there more people reporting the same exact issue (crack near the volume button). Either way I still think it's important for OnePlus to know that some of their phones are have this real issue (regardless of the percentage of total production is affected).

There are a lot a people who have complained till now. N its time now to take some action. THEY just can't continue doing this. Waise bhi 6T is here and this fone is gone. They don't even care what people are suffering. They are just experimenting.

Same problem here. How can they build it from Gorilla glass on the front but from weak standard glass on the back? WTF??!
