    Hi, does it actually cost $88 for the screen replacement and $20 for the back replacement? If it is so, then I believe it's better to go naked than putting a $30 case which spoils the aesthetics and makes the phone bulky.

    On the pricing guide it only mentions the cost of the part excl labor. Does anybody know what the cost of labor would be to replace a broken screen or back panel?

    Anyways, in India it costs around 7.5-8000 INR from service center amd rear glass costs onky 1500. Additional cost of service is 400.

    It seems that it is not difficult to replace the screen of OnePlus 6. I don't know how much does it cost to repair the screen. But if the repair shop is too expensive, DIY is a good choice.

    Had sent my old OP3 for repair due to a cracked screen. Price was about 74 euro, which is really great. Seems like Oneplus do not want to make lots of money with repairs. Great move , indeed.

    the pricing is in US dollars. (excluding taxes and labour)

    any breakage outside of warranty. i’m guessing you will have to pay shipping cost to repair centre.

    My Oneplus 6 had an inadvertent soak in some lovely river water, which ended up getting in the device (front camera fogged over). Fortunately all the electronics were fine, but the water completely destroyed the AMOLED display. The pixels started turning purple and then dying from the bottom of the screen up to the top of the screen until the whole display was dead. Sent it in for repair, and it was determined the phone only needed a new display. Total cost was $141.67 with all shipping and taxes included. Turn around time was about 8 days, 6 of which were business days.

    I was going through your post and a similar thing happened to my phone but it was just a splash of water on the top of the phone near the front camera. The phone was working fine for the entire day but crashed in the night. I thought it might be due to the water, and indeed it was as that was the result of the inspection by the one plus service center. I was being charged a ridiculous amount of $411 to change most parts in the phone.
    Sir, please let me know which service center did you send it to? I would like to do the same cause, I don't know how they charged you only for the display and they are charging me so much, a cost that is almost equivalent to a new phone.

    Well of course your phone had more water in it and on more components. Amcleod was lucky, and only the screen on his phone broke. You were not so lucky...

    within warranty means, if its physical damage, u cant claim it under warranty.. u have to pay complete cost of it and get it replaced.

    if it is other display issue like dead pixels, which can be claimed under warranty, then u need not to pay even single penny..

    It cost me $138.97 just for the screen after taxes and labor fee, I sent it to one of their authorized repair dealers

    My screen broke and i cant see anything on the display it shows lines however incoming calls keep coming cannot answer will it be under screen damage or ill be charged seperately for the display issue as well
