they should clarify this on their advertising so people know before purchasing, it is disappointing for a lot of people

Facing the same issue even in 720p mode in OnePlus 6, there is no light at all. Never faced this issue in OnePlus 5. It is too dark to see anything.

same issue here. slow motion in op6 is very dark. Tried with 1080p with much lesser fps of 240 and it's still quite dark compared to normal video. Higher FPS is just terrible.

understand that it gets very little time per frame to get enough light on the sensor but even then it's much darker compared to slow motion vdo taken in other phones. tried with Honor 8 pro and iPhone 7 plus, one having much lesser price and one much higher price

I turned off the auto brightness in all the three phones and tried.

so there is definitely some issue here with one plus 6.

the shutter speed has to be very fast, switch the phone to to manual aettings still mode and see what shutterspeed you require to get a decent exposure . I bet it's longer than 1/250 sec that you'd need for 250 FPS.

(pink borders when scrolling in minimum brightness)

There is an appearance of a slightly pinkish border around top and bottom edges of images when scrolling. This is most noticeable when there's a dark/black image.
this gets even prominent when in reading mode.

I tried capturing it in screen record but it's not visible there.

this issue gets resolved on increasing brightness

    is someone else facing this?

(sorry I did not have enough points to start a new thread)

if you need to take slow motion videos it should be a well light place because number of frames that capturing is increasing.its not a bug

As said already the slowmotion needs a great light conditions to actually look good. It will look like that if you try to do it inside.

It is the same with the samsungs, sonys etc slowmotion
