Has anyone applied the tempered glass from Oneplus to their phone yet? I've heard that it cuts out a small bit of the screen, does anyone know if this is true or not?

Most of the previous ones did, so I wouldn't expect it to be much different. @niijonodhg, will you have an answer for this (in the future), if so can't wait for your YouTube videos :) !

Edit: just checked, there's already a video on his channel:

You may have your answer there, I have not watched it yet

Yes, it does. But very little and with correct placement it's barely noticeable.

Yes, or else the temepered glass mag not stick correctly, and mess with sensitivity. Under Oneplus' product page for it, there's an installation video if you need help

As said above, it does, but it is barely noticeable. I'm still using it from when I posted the video and am reasonably happy with it compared to previous years.

It was however an absolute nightmare to fit compared to previous years.

that is completely true. mine cuts around 0.5mm on each side. I complained about it on the forum already. I'll switch to good film scratch protection once it becomes available. I want my finger to slide on the screen, yet avoid scratches.

I spent more than 1h in the bathroom (steam helps avoid dust) trying to properly install it. truly a nightmare.

I am very impressed with the glass and the difference is barely visible if you are a very picky person!

Yes, J like the protector a lot, the only place I notice it is in the notch sometimes

Don't know if this is fixed on the op6.. But this has been an issue with 3/3t and 5/5t

EDIT: This is much improved on the 6!

Had absolutely no issues applyting this tempered glass. It took me approx. 5 minutes with removing some air bubbles. Since 3T OP does a good job making those screen protectors

The only con is that with the glass screen seems little bit brighter when phone is off, otherwise - good stuff

Anybody else having probems with the top right hand corner? I have re-applied it half a dozen times now and it just doesn't seem to match up correctly. Just keeps on bubbling up... checked for dust on the outer section.

I wish they gave you the option of this being factory applied on release of new phones.

to you apply it using the included case? Also I had this problem for a bit as well, I had to reapply it about 5 times. for the bubble in the corner, I pushed the air lower and out the side.

Yeah, I tried first 3-4 times with the case... But it didn't take me long to realise the bumper case isn't even on all sides, so it was causing it to over reach on the right side entirely.

The problem I have isn't as bad as the guys video... but I am a stickler for perfection and that bubble is triggering my OCD.

Never actually noticed that! I would of expected OnePlus to make a perfect bumper case. Now that you have told me that I can't look at the case the same.
