Will you do something with the notification bar? It's plenty of space there.. And yet..
It's showing "..." when I have only wifi Bluetooth and NFC activated.. Or something else..

A picture with the notch.. Kinda..

I've had nothing but problems with my OnePlus 6's connection to my home WiFi since I got it on Tuesday.

The exchange of data when visiting a website is painfully slow when you type in a URL. it just sits there with the progress bar halted. suddenly areound 20/30 seconds later it'll wake up and download the page but sometimes it'll fail and suggest refreshing.

If I send a message on WhatsApp it doesn't send (timer icon) for 30-40 seconds and then suddenly it'll get a tick to say it's sent. longer for the second tick.

I had an iPhone 7+ and I'm already regretting the switch. if fundamentals like home WiFi are suddenly rewound to the days of dial-up speeds, what is the point?

Am I the only one who can connect okay, but in nailbitingly slow connections?

    1. There's plenty of unused space next to the notch, some icons are showing there, others not at all, like they have specific importance. Please let us set whichever icons we want there, no matter what I do icons for screen rotation and alarm (for example) won't show, even if they're set to be present in "status bar" options. Please let us enable all icons and let them be visible there, is that doable?
    2. Also, if you could please let us remove the clock which is located on the left, so that we have room for more icons, if possible?
    3. You disabled the fingerprint scanner altogether when the display is powered on, so it cannot be used to call upon the notification shade, while it also renders all third-party fingerprint scanner-related apps useless, unfortunately. If you could ammend that and make it work as it did on the 5T, that would be awesome.
    4. Battery percentage will be added to the notification shade soon I believe (as the option is gone altogether now), I've noticed you already responded to that question.

    ...thank you.

with reference to the 3rd point,

    View attachment 774080
the fingerprint scanner gesture would not be available on the OnePlus 6 at all.

I just wanted to open a thread to say that, despite all the hate I saw here and there, I rely appreciate my OP6 and this version of OxygenOS (bought the 22nd, delivered the 23rd, fully in-prod in 2h with both private and pro SIMs and apps environment) but I was sad for the battery % (even if you have it on the shelf, still better on top ^^) and the scheduled DnD but it's already taken into account \o/.

Let's wait for the next OTA !

Thank you very much! I forget where was that option. Thanks for reminding me. It's working great. And it's so much easier to double tap on screen then press power button...and it saves unnecessary click's on the button and button it selfe.

Thank you very much for pointing it out, I'm really sorry to hear that, I found much use for that fingerprint scanner thanks to a third party app. We can always use side swipes to utlize its potential, regardless to the shape. I really hope they'll reconsider.
