Oneplus 6t A6010 vs A6013

  1. IanWongKH Donut Nov 26, 2018

    IanWongKH, Nov 26, 2018 :
Mine is A6013 and I bought it from OnePlus website in Hong Kong.

Bands listed under Hong Kong site as below:
    FDD LTE: Band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/ 19/20/25/26/28/29/30/32/66/71
    TDD LTE: Band 34/38/39/40/41/46
    TD-SCDMA: Band 34/39
    UMTS(WCDMA): Band 1/2/4/5/8/9/19
    CDMA: BC0/BC1
    GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz

While bands listed under China site as below:
    FDD LTE: Band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28/29/66
    TDD LTE: Band 34/38/39/40/41
    TD-SCDMA: Band 34/39
    UMTS(WCDMA): Band 1/2/4/5/8/9/19
    CDMA: BC0/BC1
    GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz

You can see a few LTE band missing from China version.
Since mine is shown A6013, though I don't know exactly which model China version is, I believe it is A6001 where it has a few LTE band missed.... as #15 stated.

I think you are wrong, I use 6013 in Canada and it's available in all colors. Check "About Phone" in your OP and it will tell you what model you have and you'll have the right answer.

Basically, the A6010 is the global variant, and the A6013 is the TMo variant.
The global comes in three configurations: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, and comes in three color schemes: Mirror Black, Midnight Black and Thunder Purple. The TMo variant comes only as 8GB/128GB in Mirror Black.

Hardware, spec-wise, they're the same (ie CPU/etc). There is a report, though, that the modem (cellular radio) has a unique TMo signature.

    HTH, a bit.

Hi that's not quite correct I'm in the UK, I bought my 6T directly from oneplus as all my oneplus devices & my model number is A6013.

    Hi Guys,
Since I can't create a new thread I'm going to reply in this and ask for help, sorry OP.

I found a great deal for the A6010 in Gearbest, and it says that the phone is Unlocked for Worldwide use, I bought the phone, I've already checked and my local area network is compatible, but other than that, I'd love to know what other differences should I expect.

Will the unlocked A6010 get OTA updates same as the global one (A6013)
Will I be able to flash the global ROM, and would that harm the phone.

Any additional information would be helpful, thank you so much.

Edit: I still have a chance to switch to the A6013 but I will have to pay 150$ more, does it worth the additional money?

Same software, for sure. Only difference noted so far is about LTE bands. As far as I know, this will only make a difference if you live in North America.

Now about buying on Gearbest, make sure Oneplus warranty covers devices bought from a third party. I know for sure they won't accept returns of devices bought out of OP store.

Dude... They are the same! Read the topic.

The difference is that 013 has LTE bands used in US, while 010 does not. 010 is sold in India/China and 013 in the rest of the world.

    Hey guys,

    Please, could you help me?

I bought mine 6T in China. I live in Brazil and this beauty is coming.

    My model is A6010 8GB / 256GB.

The site where I bought informed me that is the Global ROM.

So, it's running Oxygen OS? Supports Brazilian Portuguese (or only English and Chinese)? Has the Google Play?

    Thanks a lot!

    Howdy everybody,

one thing to note, the T-Mobile variant supports tmos 600mhz spectrum and (4x4mimo), taking advantage of it. the OP unlocked version DOES NOT make use of Tmo's 600mhz band. FWIW.
