I have a 2018 Honda Civic and Android Auto does not work. My friend's Huawei Android is working fine on Honda, but not my 6t. I have also tried my phone on another friend's new Mazda and it doesn't work there either.

How can I debug this? Are there some logs from the device I can provide?

Are you using the OEM cable? I found it is picky with cables.

Also make sure battery optimization is off for Android Auto app.

Turning on USB Debugging in the Developer menu helped me set up Android Auto with my OnePlus 6 and an Opel (Vauxhall) Astra K, head unit Intellilink R 4.0

My 6T will not connect to my 2016 Honda Accord via Android Auto. When I plug in the usb the phone vibes twice but the only thing it does is charge the battery. Yes it's in the right USB slot for the car app. Used the original USB cable and another one. Saver mode is off and car is updated. This really sucks. Any fixes yet?

Weird. Mine works fine and I'm using a generic cable from Amazon. Make sure AA app is updated.

I'm having the same issue with my OP6T and Vauxhall head unit running Intellilink 4.0. how did you access the developer mode and what did you do to fix the issue?
