Try to go into Settings --> Apps --> Instagram --> Storage --> Clear cache and clear data. Reboot.

It worked for few minutes when the storage was wiped out but as the app started storing data again then it started having the same issue.

    • Turn off the OnePlus 6T, and then press and hold the Volume Up and Power button simultaneously.
    • Release the Power button when the OnePlus logo appears, but continue to hold the Volume Up
    • On the Android recovery screen, use the Volume Down button to navigate down to wipe cache partition and press the Power button to select it.
    • Tap on wipe cache
    • Reboot

Alright, go into the Display settings of the phone and then "fullscreen apps", there you'll find Instagram....etc. Tap on it and select "fullscreen".

The cache partition doesn't exist on the 6T. :)

    Thanks for the tag! :)

    Oh, haven't read that then.

Then there isn't really a fix, if neither of these options work.

    Do this then↓

Nahh, the OnePlus 6/6T are A/B devices, like Pixel devices. They don't have this partition.

Afaik, there isn't even an option on the 6T. I use TWRP, so I can't know for sure. Let me check.
