Battery duration is more up to you, your apps, your app settings, and your phone settings.

battery use depends mostly on your use, what apps you have installed, and what settings/services are running.
what do the battery use screens in settings say is using your battery?
best to look after a full (100% to <10%) single charge use for best info.
you can post screenshots here if you need assistance interpreting.

ok, if you know all those things, what do the screens say? pointless asking for advice on a user forum if you are not going to show info.

Yes, I am facing the same issue. Please fix the bug. I have tried factory reset. Things were good for one day. Again battery drain has started, reducing my screen on time to nearly half time than usual. Please help. Really annoying.

The battery when 1st bought 6t 8gb 256gb was really like "hey this battery just keeps going like am using everything you can throw at it from 7am (100%) till min12pm {25%} I couldn't recommend it any quicker to friends and family.I really pushed one plus to the max. Then after 6 weeks things just seemed slower (much slower) I thought ok I've downloaded my apps etc it's to be expected. then week 8 one plus just becomes a well a little bit above average phone (absolutely gutted). I then proceeded to lose the phone on a night out.(no return) so I bought another similar free £650.00 replacement handset directly off OnePlus.com received said phone and we'll see above for exactly the same time frame and outcome of the (flag ship) phone doing the same slow down and battery drain.
MY CONCLUSION IS ONE PLUS GIVE YOU SPEEDY GONZALEZ TO START WITH AND COYOTE FLAT FOOT AFTER 8-10 WEEKS. SICK REALLY SICK TO SAY THIS BUT WE ARE BEING BLUFFED BLAGGED AND TAKEN FOR SHEEP.
    MESSAGE TO ONE PLUS IS:
UP YOUR GAME OR LOSE YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMER BASE VERY QUICKLY.
    THANKS.

    couple of things:
    -SHOUTING is rude.
-You are posting on a public community forum of users here, not speaking to OnePlus direct.

none of this is happening here (or to many others). Seems weird you would spend £650 on another identical phone 8 weeks after buying one that you believe you are having issues with rather than speaking to support, or otherwise seeking help.

If your battery life is down a lot at the same time you are having speed issues it would possibly say that an app/service is using a lot of processor, power, using battery and possibly causing issues for others.
what do the battery use screens in settings say is using your battery?

battery life is visibly bad after the recent 9.0.12 update.. has gotten worse after the update of 9.0.11..
i even wiped my cache.. reset all app preferences.. uninstalled apps.. it makes no difference at all..
Ps. please don't tell me apps make or break ur battery life.. how i should charge it.. 20 - 80%.. bla bla..
battery life has visibly gotten worse after the recent updates, period.

i am using my 6t for around 2 months, first 3-4 weeks the battery was absolutely amazing with a total screen time usage was 8 hours after one full charge to 100%. Atm, it is like 28% remaining of battery with only 4 hours of screen time usage.
    What shall I do

i was thinking of a hard reset but i figured that i have wiped my cache, uninstalled almost all apps (to see which one was notorious and the battery app was not able to catch it).. reset all app preferences.. nothing has worked thus far.
bad support from oneplus. "we listen to the community".. fake.

you've still not explain why you would apparently buy a second £650 phone if you were having issues with the first one rather than speaking to support. Doesn't seem normal behaviour.
