Oneplus 6t battery not lasting Nov 13, 2018

    I have recently bought the oneplus 6t, arrived on the 9th of November (Currently the 13th of November)
    and the battery doesn't seem to be lasting as long as i expected to. I am getting around 4 hours worth of SOT before hitting the 15% mark, which doesn't seem right to me. Anyone else experiencing this issue, and what should I do about it?

    Depends, largely, on what you're using your phone for.
    Lots of games, videos, etc... lower SOT before battery run-down.

    I typically get 8-9h SOT at the ~20% battery mark, but I don't game.

    i would reset factory setting it and see if the problem continues. I get 6-8 SOT

    I've been getting approaching 10hr SOT. My latest charge is the worst I've had. Mixed use with a lot of audio over 42 hours since last charge, 15% charge left with 7.5 hrs SOT so far.

    It all depends what you do with your phone. Ive gotten as little as 5hrs of SOT, and as high as 13hrs of SOT over as little as 13hrs to 2 days (49hrs total) off-charger.

    I'm currently sitting at 11hrs over 50hrs off charger at 5% (pictured above) although I've barely done anything and its mostly just been reddit and an hour of gaming.

    If you use a lot.of social media and game while out on a hot summer day, dont expect 6hrs SOT.

    Mine's been mostly fine.. I have noticed that it goes down quite a bit overnight while I'm sleeping, as I don't feel the need to charge over night, but other than that it's the best phone battery I've had so far.

    hi all! Saw on another thread that if you turn OFF Adaptive Battery, Battery Saver, and Battery Optimization, it helps significantly. I turned all that off yesterday for my 6T and my battery lasted me about 16 hours with full charge and a good amount of screen time usage. Hope this helps!

    I find it interesting that turning off all of the programs that is supposed to help you with battery life is making the phone drain the battery quicker. LOL.

    @OnePlus Team a fix is clearly needed for your battery optimaztion programs.

    not getting a gud battery life... my older Moto g5 plus gave me a better battery life than this even that phone had 3000mAh of battery

    I was getting 4hrs too. Then I went through my apps that used most battery and restricted background use of any apps that I didn't need notifications about like chrome and some of the games and now it's at 7-8 hrs
