sumitMZ007 , via OnePlus 6 , Jan 15, 2021 : Use Gcam from Google it's better in image processing than stock camera and results are great!
Shailender Sharma , Jan 15, 2021 : Try to Clear the Camera app cache. Go to Settings - Apps and Notifications - App info - Scroll down to Camera app - Storage and Cache - Clear cache. Restart your device.
Raza_Dawar , via OnePlus 6T , Jan 16, 2021 : Clean camera app cache and the updated to latest version.
R1587567750164 , Jan 28, 2021 : I am in the same boat with Chandrahas21. The camera app simply crashes instantly. I installed a 3rd party camera app and it errored stating it could not connect to the camera. I would be very happy to find a solution that does not require a factory reset to see if that solves it. My phone is stock and on the latest OTA OS 11.0.2.2.IN11AA
the_o2 , Jan 28, 2021 : Uninstall the camera updates if there any, Boot to safe mode and see if camera is working fine there or not.
R1587567750164 , Jan 28, 2021 : Thank the_o2. The camera app isn't listed as installed apps so I not sure how to uninstall any updates. I don't think that is a thing. I did get into safe mode and the camera app is still crashing and doing the same thing. Screen briefly turns black (maybe a 1/4 of a second and crashes. Any other suggestions?
R1587567750164 , Jan 28, 2021 : I figured it out. This is a good one. This is my wives phone. Before I gave it to her, in developer options I enabled the sensors off quick settings button. It seems like she unknowingly enabled that feature. Disabling the sensors off allowed the camera to operate. Problem solved. Thanks for your help.
the_o2 , Jan 28, 2021 : Great, never thought normal user enable or disable those settings. Thanks for letting us know as well. Have a great day ahead mate
