    Yeah I totally agree however imo it is not really a step down, the improvements cancel out the lost features. So it's about the same, happy I bought my OP6 earlier in the year and managed to keep the beautiful headphone jack. New features are great and nice to have but I would prefer a faster remounted fingerprint sensor over a underneath the glass slower one which has limitations (wet fingers etc) still new features are great and OP are going in the correct direction!

    In my case I m not upgrading to 6t..I m happy with 6.. will see what comes in 7 or future models of one plus... I m not criticize 6t but not so much things to upgrade in 6t..
    and little happy to see minor upgradation [e]1f602[/e][e]1f601[/e].. because I bought 1+6 in August...so now no regret to buy 1+6..love one plus..

    Cons-
    1. no headphone jack-Subjective
    2. no led notification indicator-Subjective
    3. in display fingerprint will not work with a little dust or water in your fingers, you gotta have super clean fingertips. in short not sensitive enough so a little less practical
    4. same old dash charge , no new warp charge (no longer a industry leader in this category)
    5. Increased price-Really-did you expect it to be cheaper?

    It indeed is a step down. De fingerprint reader performance looks very bad, no notification led, no freaking headphone jack which I use with my Campfire IEMs every day for hours.. The edges of the screen are even rounder now, it looks like it's not even a rectangle anymore. dafuq

    yeah as always minor upgrades to their previous flagship, hell they even removed the jack, they have stopped thinking big and different, following "oppo and vivo" in literally evrything!!
    truth be told i thought of upgrading my 5t but now i am skeptical. hardly much speed and camera difference to my taste.
    plus i have no notch....phew!!!!

    A very bad upgrade if any. And that in screen reader will kill ur eyes at night with brightness. no head phone jack. no new innovation. Thums up for that display and battery thats it

    I will just throw the dongle on my headphones before I travel, not a big deal. I will miss the notification light though.

    Why dont you go and buy a phone with headphone jack? Despite of all useless but valid comments made you just called people stupid for liking OnePlus 6T.
    -Even standard finger print sensor will have a hard time to recognize wet or dirty finger.
    -Charging a phone for 5 minutes faster than it is now maybe not a big deal for everyone.
    -Missing headphone jack is a bummer...
    -Notification led doesn't work well anyways at least on my OP5T but I personally don't care about it anyways because I use ambient display notification.
    To me it seems that you are just one sad little man :D no offense.

    I think you're almost forgetting the point here. The T models aren't really a new phone, but more a mild hardware upgrade over the regular handset that comes out halfway into the year.

    Although I can understand what you're saying. I too like everyone else will miss the headphone jack, but if I still have that option via a dongle I'll take it because it's (the 3.5mm jack) not coming back.

    Look, I like the fact that OnePlus have gone for a teardrop notch, the screen to body ratio is great. However, what's stopping me from buying this phone is that I don't see it as a big improvement on my 5t. I can live without the headphone jack, the dongle supplied is sufficient. However, I'm not to convinced by the inbuilt fingerprint scanner. From every review video I've seen so far (6) it appears to be buggy. The physical fingerprint scanner on the 5t is absolutely fantastic in comparison. Also, I'm a big fan of LED notifications. I wasn't aware until I read this post that the 6t lacked this. So taking this into account, I'll stick to my 5t.

    as a owner of oneplus device many people including me were looking forward to upgrade but getting disappointed, thats why we are complaining here maybe OnePlus will listen and undo some of there mistakes (just maybe..).
