True. mostly all black trim version cut off the screen. either you go wet installation or keep stock.

the black trim on the official protector for my OP6 cutnoff a slight bit of the screen. it ended up shattering and i bought a cheap fully clear 3 pack on Amazon. so far no issues. I'll snag the official glass for my 6t tomorrow.

did anyone test the tempered glass? I think it is very expensive. And does the glass limit the screen a lot?

I would recommend the one from OP. The original OP tempered glass is super good and fits perfectly covering the whole screen including the edges and screen looks crystal clear. It even worked with the Spigen Case perfectly. Make sure to follow the steps provided in the website before applying it. The only thing which concerns is the price, 3rd party guards are at lower cost don't know whats the quality of them and the difference.

I'm not overly impressed with the official screen protector, I've got a big bubble along the bottom of the screen that can be removed, then re-appears. It may work out with time, but initially it's not great.

The fingerprint scanner works fine with it though.

Also, yes I did follow the instructions, and I have fitted multiple tempered glass screen protectors to multiple different devices with no issues (If I can get an ipad pro 10.5" screen protector perfect, a phone should be easy)

i bought the official OnePlus 6T tempered glass, now shouldn I remove the pre installed plastic case and then apply the tempered glass , or just put it on top of the other.

Remove the PET screen protector. They're not meant to be stacked.

I'm very interested in the official one too. I bought the Supershieldz Clear 2 pack from Amazon and it is unsealed around the sides and bottom of the screen protector. I'm wondering if these companies are doing the black border to hide the fact that the screen protector isn't sealing around the edges. Also TMobile has a 40$ screen protector that is clear and someone posted a video on YouTube and it looks nice minus paying 40$.

I have the glass screen protector. It costs as much as any other tempered glass screen protector I've gotten with shipping and honestly makes the screen look 5x better than the stock protector. I had very little issue putting the screen on and (with a little patience and elbow grease) there are no bubbles under the display. I do not notice a difference in screen size due to the black border. If anything, the screen looks even better than before. If you want to spend the extra cost, I say go for it because it is worth what you pay. If the stock screen protector works for you, then keep using it because it's pretty good too. If you want to go bare screen, honestly, it's your phone.

I got my OnePlus tempered glass for my 6T today but am asking for a replacement. It wouldn't stick at 4 different spots around the edges. I tried and tried but couldn't get it to stick. Hopefully they'll give me a replacement. I provided them with pictures. The tempered glass also made the phone feel much heavier. I expected that because the one I bought for my OP3 was the same way. It's a nice tempered glass. I hope I can get a replacement so I can get one that'll stick good. In the meantime I ordered one from Amazon. The brand is RedLuckStar. It looks just like the one from OnePlus. Full adhesive too.
