    Is it just me or has anyone had their OnePlus 6t recently been playing up since the new update?

    apps still the same
    wallpaper still the same
    everything still the same

    experiencing a lot of jittering, screen going black to unlock phone, lag, phone going flat quicker than usual and all round general use.

    Please don't tell me OnePlus is doing the Apple co. Method 🤨

    When did you format last? A good format cleans the phone and should improve the jitteriness.

    Are you on 10.3.1 or 10.3.0, with 6T, if you are not on 10.3.1 you can update via Oxygen Updater, this may fix the issues.

    Also try the suggestions below for battery issues.

    Just in case there is an App hogging resources, causing lag, Battery drain or freezing, clear your recent apps, also try setting 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

    Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

    Also charge your phone to full and restart it after optimizing, and see if that helps.

    Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more battery than necessary.

    I have updated to 10.3.1 and I'm still having the same issues as above. I never needed to perform all these other actions in order to have my phone running smoothly. My oneplus 6T has been so smooth for the past year and a half I've had it. Since the update, it has been slow and lagging for no reason. I have to restart it so many times. Are they aware of this lag? I hope they can do something about it but I will try the tips you suggested. Thanks.
