Hi- I just used a Samsung S10e- great device, a little small for my needs, out of interest, how did you find the battery life?, mine seem to drop some 30% in battery usage in 3 hours. Thanks BC

OP7 beats the S10e in terms of battery life, easily. I got screen on time approximately ~4-5 hours. By that time the 7 is half full. So a big difference definately.

Thanks- it's such a shame the OnePlus 7 camera is so poor, and the hype around it, what a let down.

I find the battery life to be decent enough. I get 20-22 hours with WhatsApp , phone calls , GPS tracker + walking app, checking emails, general browsing , and Netflix

Of course, I keep my phone on battery saver mode throughout.

They are releasing the update in batches. First , they are sending to a select group of customers and then they will release the stable version to the rest based on feedback received...

Update 2nd July: I upgraded to the new OS version 9.5.6 and there is still no improvement in the camera sensor response to light. I took a video and couple of pictures after the software upgrade and the lighting changes can be seen clearly and the sensor seems to be having difficulty adjusting to changing light conditions.

The 1st picture with light blue is the original color. The 2nd picture is taken right after and notice the dark blue hue.

Yes. The picture with light blue is the original color.
The one with the dark blue hue is what I get when there is low light and the camera sensor struggles adjusting to the light.

I have asked customer care to provide me a demo device for me to test if the issue can be replicated.
    if yes, then it's a build/software issue.

if the issue cannot be replicated, then it's a possible device issue and I need a replacement.

They said they will require few more days to complete their investigation on why this issue is occurring.

I was using an iPhone 7. Succumbed to all the hype.
I must admit that features wise the 1+7 is a good one, but the camera is, I am gonna use the word sub par.

When an Android phone that's a third of the 1+7's price can take pictures in low light , this is very disappointing.
