I'm so excited for the OnePlus 7 Pro but it has removed my favourite features which I have on OnePlus 6..
    1. first is the headphone jack! it's way much easier to use compared to Bluetooth ones where there's chances of charging issues of ur earphones..

    2. it's the Fingerprint.. though I rarely used it on my Oneplus6 still it's slower wen used on the one display fingerprint

    3. the most commonly used feature for me is the face unlock.. now in the 7Pro with pop-up camera with takes 0.5sec to pop out.. unlocking phone won't be as quick as needed. I think the traditional way with lock pattern would be the fastest to unlock your phone!

These are the things which makes me think over to buy the newer versions of the phone..

All the above are purely my choices.. would love to know what others think on it!

I agree. Infact as a 6T user I did not see serious innovation to make me ditch my phone.

In-display fingerprint works lightning quick in 7pro as per reviews, maybe fastest in-display fingerprint scanner in the world (right now)!

I still I'm yet to find a phone with that wow factor as compared to a few years back.

I think it was a douchy move by oneplus not to include the usb-c to headphone adapter but they figure to make more money by selling you the adapter or Bluetooth bullet headphones separately and they are following apple and Google's footsteps.

the oneplus 7 pro is a nice device. my biggest complaints are the curved edges, lack of wireless charging, oneplus bi- monthly security update policy, and slow down of updates for devices from near previous generations.

Not including the usb-c to headphone adapter was strange since 6T users got one for free

    No Wireless Charging Support
    No Water resistance rating
No headphone jack (well can still live without it thanks to handy converters)
    Size tad too big
Camera a little disappointing, can't really match that of S10 or pixel

    Rest everything is Hunky-Dory [e]1f601[/e]

they are doing it because apple and Google have started not to bundle the adapter and/or lightning/usb-c headphones in their latest devices either.

the bundling was basically a warning that "we will support you for now but get you back later"

Agree on the Wireless charging but it's only a matter of time before there is a Google Pixel mod available for the OP7P, the phone is a bit big at 6.6. My main complaint would be the curved edges, don't want to have accidential touches. Although OP put the device in water, there is no official IP rating, so I wouldn't trust it. I've learned to live without headphone jack!

Have an OP 5T b0lut recently upgraded to Mate 20 Pro.
Glad I didn't wait for 7 pro, as I would have missed out on the following features
    Ultrasonic fingerprint
3D face unlock using lasers & infrared
    Wireless charging
    Wireless reverse charging
    Expandable memory
    Camera ultra wide mode
    4200 may battery
    Waterproof & dustproof
    WQHD+ display

The Mate 20 Pro is faster and smoother than the 5T
I get over 10 hours SOT with a battery life a few hours short of 2 days.

It's an amazing phone, especially as it's now only £500 in the UK.

Unfortunately, the OP 7 pro is over priced especially considering all the flagship features missing.

    Goodbye Oneplus

I want to purchase the Pro7! I have been using Oneplus since 2013 with the Oneplus 1. Later on moved to the oneplus 2 and then the oneplus 3. I skipped the 5 and went to the 6. Loved the 6 and so I upgraded to the 6T. Still excellent phones and still peppy!! My concern is the fact that Facial recognition is amazing on both the 6 and the 6T. With the 7 being released and not having a forward facing camera, I don't know if I want to risk losing the thing that makes my phone AWESOME! It unlocks so fast it doesn't seem possible. Just not sure how I will like this feature popping up and down 300,000 times the first YEAR I own it..

So far based upon my research its pretty durable.. external memory always slows down the transfer rate thus making the phones slower and they also poses security risks.. rest i understand the freedom to have more space is always good.

7 pro will fail in india for sure, for the price omitting tiny details like usb3,3.5mm,ip rating, wireless charging,940fps,led notification,5g(not mentioned anywhere),sd slot, increase in drop chances, rise in weight and height, design copy. But 7 will be a hit, atleast

I would like to add another point to the above thread..
    4. I read in few posts that there's no pocket mode in the pro version! if that is true then there would be many calls gng out without Ur notice.. specialy tot the emergency contacts! it was also a really good feature ! c'mon OnePlus please don't remove all the cool features you had before !
