Oneplus 7 half screen turn grey and screen flickering Dec 25, 2021

Hi,
I have OnePlus 7t Pro, my screen displayed a green/purple line at the middle of the screen yesterday, and today morning with the line, the whole screen is turning grey.

Phone has never fallen anywhere, everything was proper till yesterday night.

Anyone any help, thankyou.

Hi, I just came here to find help for the same issue. Mine is doing the same thing and it's 68 F here, some people think it's because it's cold, but it's not. It's so annoying, because it's not just the grey square but it also flickers. Please help!

I have the same problem and it's a shame for this company to not fix this issue we all have.
My next smartphone I will buy for sure will be not OnePlus.

How can they fix a hardware issue through software? Visit a service center.

How can be a hardware issue, if I restart the phone, the screen goes normal and after I unlock it, the screen start flickering?
Beside this, I never dropped the phone and the phone didn't touch even a drop of water, didn't used it in extreme cold/hot conditions.
All of this result a very low quality of all pieces of this phone and company, due to so so much customers have the exactly same issue.
In addition, there is no physical service centre in Romania, the country where I live.
