    hi can anyone help me?

I have the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G thru Sprint

I was able to root it (which im new at but found a guide on xda) and thought that would override the OEM network lock, but it's still greyed out and locked to sprint.

I got the damn phone off eBay and thought it was unlocked so I can't unlock it by calling sprint.

you can see in my photos the phone has the bootloader unlocked and the phones rooted. Yet still OEM lock in developer menu. 1589749409120.jpg 1589749483295.jpg

Am I correct in the presumption that you want to use this device on a different (non-Sprint) carrier?

You would have to check what the popup says from Settings - System - System Updates - UICC Unlock. If it doesn't say "Your Device is Unlocked" then the only way to resolve is by contacting Sprint. I don't recall a paid service that can UICC-unlock any OnePlus devices sold directly by Sprint.

Bootloader unlocks (what is listed under Developer options as "OEM unlocking") don't make a device carrier-liberated (SIM/UICC unlocked).

I didn't know Sprint offered this (or is it post-merger support?)

Yes the way to do it is use the MSMtool (guacamoles_unlock) and put the phone in EDL mode to unlock the bootloader then you can flash TWRP and root it etc. Be sure to back up the stock ota and don't make the mistake of flashing beta or international without the stock ota handy cause mms and mobile data seem to get wonky. it works sporadically.

Does anyone for the love of god have a flashable zip of the stock OTA for 10.0.1 or 10.0.2 that I can please have? You can find it in your .OTA folder and I would appreciate it very much. Thank you!

I don't think you'll be able to find that since it seems Sprint dropped OnePlus.

I am hoping some one has the rom on their phone in their .OTA folder and will share it with me.

idk if this will help a lot but If you want to get 10.0.2 installed i sort of stumbled across a way.

I don't remember where but I downloaded "guac_31_O.09_190820.zip I extract the files and used the msmtool. Once it reboots you will be on Android 9 something.

Then when it restarts go to system updates. It will give you the option to do a system update and that version is 10.0.2.GM25CC. Then download it and you're good to go.
