Oneplus 7 Pro back glass breaks on its own

Not at all, I always use regular and comfortable jeans and my phone always goes alone in my right front pocket. I noticed when I took it out of the case to clean the pocket lint that gets in the case gaps.
It's just a matter of time before more people seek this thread. I know it is difficult for other people to believe but there is definitely something wrong structurally with the back glass. This reminds me when the snapdragon 810 was frying on thousands of Nexus 6P which where left bootlooping and in the beginning Google was in denial that it was an widespread issue. Or other cases like Apple's Iphone 6 bendgate which where later proven to be true

You are correct about oneplus having a quality control issue with the rear glass because I took the case off of my oneplus 7 and it also was cracked without any cause, I ordered a replacement rear off of ebay it was supposed to have been metal lol, but seems to be plastic replaced tonight

I've also ordered a new one, a glass one supposedly original, I'll post the results when it arrives, and I will put a dbrand over it.
It's a good thing it wasn't metal, for one being plastic it won't break and also it won't mess up radio signal as a metal one certainly would

Did yours also cracked with the same pattern from any of the buttons? Do you have any photos?

Is not the quality the problem, the problem is that you should take more care...

I am going through the same issue. Today morning when I woke up there was nothing but after 2 hours when I checked there was a crack close to the power button.

My one plus 7 pro has also cracked on its own in an exactly similar fashion with spider like crack originating near the volume button. My phone was in the case and moreover my neither dropped nor I have put extreme pressure on it.Previously I had Samsung Note 5 and it also has a glass back but it never cracked on its own.Although One plus 7 pro overall is a superb device but I think one plus compromises on quality by charging us low prices or there is a design flaw which they haven't able to correct for the past 3 generations because many other manufacturers are using glass backs but no glass cracks on its own

I've owned my OnePlus 7 pro since it was released at T-Mobile. The phone has been in a case with a screen protector on its entire life, so as soon as it came out of its box it's been protected. Normal day, nothing new, I go to plug my phone in at night to charge and I notice the back of the phone is completely shattered. I imagine I would have noticed sooner but I always have a case on my phone so no telling when this happened. I reached out to T-Mobile and they said something similar to OnePlus about how I voided my warranty. My 7pro shattered from the bottom volume rocker through entirety of the back glass. It looks like an under armor symbol. I've owned every OnePlus model excluding the X and the McLaren edition. This material quality/build is unacceptable. #ThanksOnePlus #SuperSpecificWarranty
