    Sorry for the late reply

I put my phone to charge at 3 %, I turned it off completely
These are my results... I took the first picture at 7 %... I took pictures and recorded after every 10 minute intervals.. One plus is only allowing me 6 uploads so see attached

    Regards

I timed my charging from 5% with the phone turned OFF:

    0: 5%
    5 minutes: 18%
    10 minutes: 29%
    15 minutes: 40%
    20 minutes: 49%
    25 minutes: 57%
    30 minutes: 65%
    35 minutes: 73%
    40 minutes: 79%
    45 minutes: 85%
    50 minutes: 89%
    55 minutes: 92%
    60 minutes: 95%
    65 minutes: 97%
    70 minutes: 100%

Usage with screen on just before this test was just over 10 hours with screen brightness fairly high watching mostly videos:

also it took 1:16 hr to go from 0 to 100 %, where as in some charging speed test I saw it took around 1:02hr to get to 100% from 0

The main issue here is the temperature bro. I am too facing this issue.

whenever I plug in the device the temperature is around 32 degrees and i get 5800ma current which goes upto 44 degrees and at 44 degrees the phone slows down charging current to 3500 ma and that is why we are facing slow charging. This might be an issue with the power brick or the phone hardware.

As OnePlus has claimed the warp charger doesn't let the device heat up but in our case the device is heating up considerably from 32 to 44 degrees i think the power brick is faulty. The device shouldn't heat up im such manner like it's okk if it gets heated upto 3-4 degrees while charging but going from 32 to 44 is not normal.

yeah i noticed that it gets like really really hot while charging. i don't know how and if they are planning to fix this but that would mean that every single person would have to get a new charger which is a crazy idea.

and i mean you can't send your charger back to get it replaced because you need it lol. this is a serious problem also because it is not healthy for a phone to get to 44 degrees.

The team can only fix this if it's a software problem. But if it's the power brick or phone hardware we ourselves will have to get it done at the service center. No option other than that. The service center will either replace the power brick or the phone depending on where the actual fault is.

Yes, I also think that the main issue is overheating.. I checked that in the first 5 minutes the phone gained 12% charge... After that the charging speed slowed down as a result of heating of power brick or the phone..

this really sucks since i already sent one back because it had dust in the camera. really annoying... someone from OnePlus DMed me and asked me to do a log of my phone charging and i did that and sent it to him. Let's see what they say and do.

yeah for the initial few minutes the warp charge works great charging like 3-4% per minute but once the temperature reaches 44 degrees it cuts down the charging current which slows the charging speed.

i just did what he told me to:
    OEM LOG:
    1. Input *#800# from dialing interface, enter "oneplus logkit", delete history log
    2. Click "advanced", choose "save log type", make sure that all options are selected (Kernel, Main, System, Radio, Event, Tcpdump), then click OK
    3. Click "save log", when it informs you whether to reboot, please click “cancel”
    4. Try to reproduce the issue and take a screenshot of the issue happening time
    5. Stay for several minutes, click “save log” again to stop it, then send the whole oem_log folder in zip (file manager-storage) along with the screenshots, issue link or specific description to us. After you share us the logs, please delete the file from your phone or it will occupy a lot of storage.

Many Indian users are facing this issue. Hope we get some official announcement from the team regarding the issue. It's a genuine fault and they should acknowledge it and provide a solution.
