You see there is no 5g in old model so if your phone is 5g you will get 5g network now for one plus 7 pro no 5g network is going to come.hope this information may help you

It increased as the phone understood what apps I use the most and what apps I don't so it restricts them and it will improve battery. For gaming it wouldn't help that much. Watch out for screen burn.

Pro-tip: never trust that metric. That's basically the estimation of battery life at that exact minute and changes literally every second you have the phone on doing anything.

i m not trusting any metric i had shared those screenshot if you can see screen on time and battery usage data so 7 mins = nearly 7% of battery??

7 minutes of the screen being on but 30 minutes since you took it off the charger. The "Last full charge" metric is much more important to look at.

So what does it mean if i took of charger 2 hours ago my phone is on standby u agree there will be around 5-6 % battery loss on standby but if phone is on standby how i m suppose to lose battery this fast

Have to agree with X1583655429992 the battery usage after this security patch is now down from 2 days normal usage to 1 day. there is no clear explanation in the battery usage app.

Oneplus 7 pro has really bad battery backup. Drained 5-7% overnight (for 7 hrs of sleep time) for no reason. WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC are turned off. This is the worst phone I have ever had. Wonder if the developer will tackle the problem or just leave it be like this.

No such thing as "battery backup" for one. For two, this is completely normal. There may be no radios on in the foreground but there's a lot more than that that stays on 24/7 regardless such as WiFi, phone signal, background processes, etc. that contribute to the "no reason drainage".

I wonder why you keep saying such big amount of drain is 'completely' normal. 7% drain in 7 hours = 1% per hour. It is absolutely abnormal, considered that the phone is in sleep mode with radio off, background app cleared and battery consuming features off. Go and try more phones then you will know why do people say the battery is draining.

So you did have mobile connection on? Bad reception can be a reason for such drop. In my house with good reception I lose 1-2% overnight max, but going to countryside (bad reception) sometimes drains like 10% in few hours without using the phone
