I've heard the same but everyone's uses vary. I'm always streaming music via BT, I never watch movies or play games so I guess it depends on what we're doing but for me the amount of money I saved vs buying a Samsung note I can SETTLE for average.

I thought I had offered reasonable thought to the thread. There are many reports that an idle overnight on the charger is required in order for Android to get itself optimized.

Considering that the phone has only been in hand for a few days, and with all the excitement over a new device, I'd wager not many have let things settle in before making negative reports.

I'm sure it's much higher with longer usage than these reviewers online are giving. As need time for phone to optimise what app you use etc

ok getting this back on topic. I have had good battery life so far. however i had turned off the 90 hz to 60 hz and from QHD down to FHD. with that done from a full charge I got 7 hrs of SOT with about 36 hrs from full charge. I realize that turning that stuff off defeats the purpose the better specs, but i was really looking for the better camera and speakers. plus most apps refresh back to 60 Hz anyway so it doesn't bother me. and I had FHD with my 6T so I'm not missing out.

Ooo... Can you tell the difference in regards to the display from the 1080p resolution to the higher resolution?

One plus are good with software optimization so I'm guessing in time they will work on the One Plus 7 Pro. Like with any company phone to help with battery life etc
