Does taking photos consume battery life so much due to the utterly inferior software design for the 48 mexapixel camera module? Given that OnePlus has a history of bad camera software, I had really hoped that the new "flagship" would sport a camera that could at least keep up with my cellphone from 2 years ago. Unfortunately, not.

It has been observed by many that 90hz does reduce battery life by quite a bit. So yeah, you either give up the 90hz or the battery life. Can't have both it seems :(

Now the IP rating. Having the phone IP certified means OnePlus will have to be much more responsible and thorough in the manufacturing process. Also, I am more concerned with dust, especially ones that lingers inside my pockets. That pop-up camera is a disaster waiting to happen with dust. And there are already reports of seeing dust being collected inside the pop-up mechanism.

Wireless charging is convenient. Also you don't get the warp charge benefit unless you use the proprietary cable and adapter. Wireless charging also helps reduce wear and tear on the USB-C port.

You see... It was not such a big deal when OnePlus phones were cheaper than the competing flagships by a mile. But after the $120 price hike, now it is no longer the case any more. Now it is starting to feel like being compromised, even if the missing features are ones I don't necessarily need.

Oh, and I don't consider buying OnePlus phones for the camera. I have accepted the reality, so of the camera comes out great, then it just becomes icing on the cake.

Going from Auto Switch in resolution and 90hz to FHD+ and 60hz shot up my screen on time from 7 hours to 8.5 hours. I think it would benefit the users if OnePlus included a switch to the more power efficient display setting as part of the battery saver. If not, atleast a quick toggle to swap between 60hz and 90hz would be well appreciated.

I feel the battery doesn't really do justice to the phone, anyone else feels the same?

Been a user of One Plus Series, but this one has scope for improvement
