Hello team, I have just brought the OnePlus 7 and its been like 2 days and while charging it getting hot a little bit so, is it normal or what bcoz as I know new mobiles never get hot while charging.

Also, I have one doubt related to speaker.
In bottom 2 speaker only one(left) gives me a high sound/volume and another (right one ) has a low volume.

Kindly help me with the confusion with this.

Hi, I too bought OP7 last week, and I haven't observed any hearing issues while charging it in use so far. I believe if the 2 bottom sm grills, only one is speaker, and thev other is only for symmetry, and not a speaker grill. however, I'm experiencing few issues with touch, where I'm seeing some freezes and unresponsiveness.

Everything above 5hrs of screen on time beats most phones that are out. 3.5hrs and your phone is still half full - you are good to go!

Edit. Just saw that your last full charge was more than a day ago. Even better!

Does anyone else see a "single, huge drop" typically a couple of hours after fully-charging, while mostly on stand-by?

I haven't installed any new apps, or made any significant changes, that I can think of, since 9.5.5, where this did NOT occur.

I'm seeing a pattern a bit like this:
    - charge to 100%
    - take off charger, do a few things, set the phone aside while wrapping things up, maybe an hour or two
    - phone is maybe at 98%, at this point, or similar.
    - go for a 2-3 hour road-ride, and when I get back, it's still at say 96%.
    - set the phone down, again in Stand-by, for a bit, maybe 30 minutes.
    - grab the phone to sync my workout watch, or similar, and notice that it's now at 89% (roughly), dropping 7% in those 30 minutes of "StandBy", with no actual "Battery use", in the percentage graph.

I see things like GoogleMessenger using 1%, and WiFi or Cell using 1-2%, adding up to maybe 3-4%, total, and my "battery graph" has a BIG drop, right after I get home (that 30 minute window).
I sort of thought it might be some sort of "big sync", given that it's back on WiFi when I return, but I sure don't see it, if I look at the WiFi throughput for the device (I have an SMB setup at home, so I can track "all sorts of minutiae", in terms of network throughput, with a high-degree of accuracy (mostly Cisco and Unifi gear).

My "workout watch app" is VERY background restricted, intentionally, I don't want "real time" updates or similar, I'm plenty happy to do a post-ride sync, every time. It's not registering any data usage either, in that "big drop window", so it's not that, before anyone asks.

I wonder what the heck IS causing the "huge drop" in StandBy, three times since moving to 9.5.7, 3 days ago now, it's happened every day, same exact pattern?

And yep, I've also checked my app-data-usage, during the same time-period, that's usually my first "go-to" when I see weird stuff like this, it's almost always something using a LOT of data, in that timeframe. Not so much, this time...

@KeepTransisting I agree, overall the battery-life is really good, given the specs of the h/w, particularly the "view-ability" of the screen, in almost any light.

I just wish I knew what was causing my single, daily, big-drops, so I could adjust things (or perhaps file a bug, with some pretty big logs, to cover the 30 or so minutes) to prevent it.

It has been a little over 24hrs since my 7P arrived. I have no issues related to heat, nor longevity. 7 Pro 9.5.7 12GB, with auto brightness and LTE.

I just got my phone a week ago, for the best behavior of charging, should i always wait till the battery % drop till less than 10% only charge it? Or it doesn't really matter at what level of the percentage of the battery you do the charging?
