I have just updated with Oxygen OS 10.3.2 and since then my batter seems be draining very very fast. My usage is moderate. Before the update, my battery would last longer despite watching videos and movies. Are others also facing the same issue after downloading the new oxygen OS update?

Since a month now the phone is like a charcoal always warm & after using to check messages & stuff it's a furnace the screen is always warm if I hold it in hand & that is making the battery drain faster. I have done a full reset to check if any app was causing problem but its still same. I don't get it where it has liquid cooling thing inside how its still shooting up so much temperature. Is the coolant dried up?

Battery backup has gone awful If I full charge it in morning by late evening I've to charge it again also the usage is moderate not heavy don't even play games over it. Earlier it was better even with higher refresh rate but due to this I reduced it to 60Hz still same no improvement. I even tried turning of location doesn't improve much. There is something needed to be fixed after screen ambient part maybe its keeping powering pixels without any usage in background hence device remains warm without usage.

I had this problem before I rooted it and used a different kernel and changed the kernel settings. now it barely warms up ever and still beats my stock benchmarks.

I've had my 7 Pro for about a year, the last update keeps killing my battery. I used to go more than a day with no problems. Is anyone else having this problem? I've looked into my apps and nothing is using an extraordinary amount of battery. I frequently close all apps, and have everything set to optimize.

I don't know about any other models but my phone's temperature at idle state is around 40°c and while gaming (pubg mostly) it reaches around 75°c. I don't charge my device while playing neither play it in HDR settings, still it becomes so hot that it's difficult to play another round. The hike in temperature is noticed around playing for 20-25 min.
    Battery temperature while gaming/idle - 40-50°c
    CPU temperature gaming - 60-75°c and idle - 40-45°c
(I checked the temperature through Antutu)

Exactly the same issue I'm facing.

Also while charging it's obvious the device heats up but now about a month or so it gets very hot the entire device including camera exterior no kidding.

So post charging I switch off phone let it cool completely n then use it.

Simple apps like Quora is really heating up the entire phone.

It's not consistent either it's gets hot randomly n battery takes a hit due to that.

If you use wifi 5ghz freq. phone starts to really heat up, if you charge during these times it's gonna get super hot like you feel really uncomfortable holding the device.

While playing heavy games Call of duty it works fine at times, or it gets hot sometimes.

Unable to figure out where exactly the problem lies.

Have been using one plus phones starting from OP6, really surprised with OP7Pro having this issue.

Let's hope for a fix in near future.

    Hello 7 Pros

I am extremely happy with my 7 Pro !

After my pixel 2xL received a software update patch in April, the front camera working.... google half heatedly address the problem but never fixed it.

I looked at the 7 McLaren edition pro[e]2764[/e]️ I decided to go with the 8 pro[e]2764[/e]️ but to my surprised TMobile does not carry the 8 pro. bummer.
The 7 pro [e]2764[/e]️ is my formula One edition.

I have 45 gb to transfer from my old phone and I used the One plus switch and it will not transfer the data after 4 hours..... the 7pro stayed cool as a swimming pool while the pixel got hot as hell....

No battery heating during charging or data transfer.
