OnePlus 7 pro ear piece noise May 24, 2019

    does anyone else experience a faint high pitched interference noise in your ear piece while on a call? if no one is talking on the line it's pretty apparent. just trying to figure out if it's just me or not. I'm on ATT if that matters.

    Yes. I noticed the same. Some sort of electrical noise while on a call. This is not network related since the Oneplus 5 didn't do it before I switched to the 7 Pro.
    Actually when the OnePlue 3T came out, it had a similar error which was fixed with a software update. I hope this happends soon since this is really annoying.

    yes exactly, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a defective unit. hopefully it's fixed soon. making me nuts, seems to be worse on HD voice calls.

    Yes there is definitely a problem with the earpiece. I also opened a topic about this problem and many people have the same problem.... If you listen carefully when your phone is in standby, you can still hear it. It's always there I really hope this is something that they can fix with an update and it's not a hardware issue.

    what earphones or headphones is everyone using? I have this problem with 3rd party USB c earphones and thought it was the earphones [e]1f62d[/e] I'm using the OnePlus 7 pro from T-Mobile and earphones from Amazon

    Not related to earphones or headphones, the earpiece (top speaker) of the phone.

    this problem I don't face with bullet c type, but i am not able to reduce the call volume.

    I heard this happening twice so far, I thought It could be some network issue. But seeing a thread with many people having the same issue, I can as well confirm I am facing this issue.

    I had a call with no issues. However, I can hear an intermitent interference noise with the phone on standby... I hope it's getting fix in upcoming updates and is not a hardware issue.

    maybe all of our phones are tapped by our local government??? jk, it would be nice if people posted their phone versions and when the high pitch plays... mine isn't from the phones speakers, it's from 3rd party USB C earphones. I have the 8gb of ram, 256gb storage TMobile OnePlus 7 pro in the USA

    I can hear that high pitch noise during calls and in standby mode as well. I tried a few things (no SIM card inserted, WiFi, BT, NFC, location services are switched off) but I can still hear it. I also tried to switch on airplane mode but the noise is still there. During calls it makes me a headache after 2 minutes. If they cannot figure out something soon then I have to send this phone back. :(

    Model: OnePlus 7 Pro 256GB/8GB nebula blue (GM1913)
    OS: Oxygen OS 9.5.4.GM21BA
    Network: Vodafone Hungary
